Manchester Badminton has officially partnered with Uber Eats and We Love MCR Charity.
We are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news with you! Manchester Badminton has officially partnered with Uber Eats, who will serve as our home game event sponsor for the upcoming 2025/26 season!
For those unaware, Uber Eats is a leading food delivery service that connects customers with their favourite restaurants, offering fast and reliable delivery through an easy-to-use app. Whether you're in the mood for local delicacies or craving international cuisine, Uber Eats has an extensive selection to cater to every taste. With real-time tracking, secure payment options, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, enjoying your favourite meals has never been more convenient.
Nicholas Lee, the Regional Sales Manager at Uber Eats, expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership, stating: "We’re thrilled to partner with Manchester Badminton, showcasing the incredible local restaurants available on Uber Eats. This collaboration allows us to support Manchester's vibrant food scene, connecting fans and the Club with their favourite local spots. Together, we're proud to highlight Manchester's local culinary offerings and strengthen our commitment to the local community."
Patrick Teh, our Managing Director, also shared his excitement: “We are delighted to welcome one of the largest global food delivery services, Uber Eats, to the Club’s sponsorship portfolio. Starting this week, Uber Eats will sponsor our first home matches, promoting six local participating restaurants by providing exclusive offers to our home match ticket holders. Additionally, they will support our home kit sales throughout the first three months, so be sure to grab your kit while stocks last!”
We are also proud to inform you that our home kit is sponsored by local businesses and is partnered with We Love MCR Charity, chaired by the Lord Mayor of Manchester. For every home kit sold, £2 will be donated to empower positive change for communities and young people across our city.
Simon Wright, the head of We Love MCR Charity, expressed his excitement about Manchester Badminton being the first badminton team in the north competing in the NBL, highlighting how a sports team can support charity in a more meaningful way. We wholeheartedly support this initiative in our community!
As we embark on these exciting partnerships, we invite everyone to experience the benefits of the Uber Eats app. Download the latest version via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to explore your favourite meals at the touch of a button. And don’t forget about We Love MCR Charity, supporting those in need.
